Warm Up 9/29

EPIC POEM: A long poem that tells the adventures of a great hero.

EPIC HERO: Noble birth or high social position

KENNING: A metaphorical phrase or compound used to name a person, place, or thing indirectly.

CAESURA: Often the verse line is divided into 2 halves, separated by a rhythmical pause.

ALLITERATION: Repetition of initial consonant in words close to another in lines of poetry.
